Terms of Service
1. Who you are dealing with
TRUEGRAIN LAB (the desktop app, the owner app and this website) is owned, sold and run by J B Agro, GSTIN 06ETPPM6302B1ZU. In these terms "we" means J B Agro and "you" means the business or person who signs up.
By creating an account or using the software you agree to these terms. If you sign up for a company, you confirm you can bind that company.
2. What the service does
TRUEGRAIN LAB grades rice and grain samples from a flatbed scan. It measures kernels, counts defects and reports results against a standard you choose. Results are measurements to support your decisions. They don't replace a certified laboratory, and we don't guarantee any trade or price outcome.
Accurate results need a supported scanner, a clean tray and the calibration steps in the app. Results from a skipped or failed calibration may be wrong.
3. Accounts
- Give true details when you sign up and keep them current, including your GSTIN if you want it on invoices.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account and the users you add.
- Each paid user is one named person. Don't share a login between people.
- Tell us at truegrainlabs@gmail.com straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
4. Free trial
The first 30 days are free. The trial starts when you first sign in on a scanner PC. When it ends, grading stops until you pay. Your saved scans stay on your PC.
5. Price and payment
- The plan costs Rs 60,000 per user per year, plus GST where it applies. We send a GST invoice.
- You pay by bank transfer or UPI against the invoice. The plan starts once the payment reaches us.
- Plans renew yearly. We remind you before renewal, and you can cancel renewal at any time before it starts.
- We may change the price for future years with at least 30 days' notice. A new price applies only from your next renewal.
- Refunds follow our Refund Policy.
6. Licence
While your plan is active we give you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use the software for your own business. You may not copy, resell, rent, reverse engineer or change the software, or remove its notices, except where the law allows it. The software, its grading engine, its standards library and the TRUEGRAIN LAB name and mark belong to us.
7. Your data
Your scans, images and reports belong to you. Scans are stored on your own PC. Sample details and results sync to our cloud so your owner app and other units can see them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.
You let us process your data only to run the service, keep it secure and support you. If you turn on dataset sharing in Settings, you also let us use the shared grain images to improve the grading engine. You can turn it off at any time.
You can export reports from the app at any time as PDF, and average reports as CSV. We may use anonymised, combined figures that cannot identify you or your business (for example, average grading times) to run and improve the service.
We use a few service providers to run the service, listed in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for third-party services you choose to connect or send data to.
8. Fair use
- Don't use the service to break the law or to mislead buyers or sellers with altered reports.
- Don't try to get around the licence, the trial or the device checks.
- Don't attack, overload or probe our systems.
We may suspend an account that breaks these rules. Where we can, we warn you first and give you time to fix it.
9. Availability and updates
The desktop app grades offline. Sign-in, sync, the owner app and advanced reports need the internet and our cloud. We aim to keep these running but can't promise they will never be down. We release updates to fix problems and improve grading, and some updates may be needed to keep using the service.
10. Limits on our liability
We provide the software with reasonable care and skill. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for lost profit, lost trade or indirect loss, and our total liability in any year is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as power or internet outages, natural disasters, or government action.
You agree to cover our losses from claims by others caused by your misuse of the service, by reports you altered, or by your breach of these terms.
11. Ending the agreement
You can stop at any time by cancelling renewal or writing to truegrainlabs@gmail.com. We can end the agreement if you seriously break these terms. After it ends, the cloud copy of your data is kept for 12 months and then deleted, unless the law needs us to keep it longer. Scans on your PC stay with you.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new date, and tell you by email or in the app if a change matters to you. We give at least 30 days' notice of changes that matter. If you don't agree, you can cancel before they apply. Using the service after that means you accept the new terms.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please write to us first so we can try to settle any problem. If we can't, the courts at Kaithal, Haryana have exclusive jurisdiction.
14. General
These terms, with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, are the whole agreement between us. If a court finds one part unenforceable, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a right right away doesn't mean we give it up. You may not transfer this agreement without our written consent. We may transfer it if the business is sold, and we will tell you.
