Rice quality, kernel by kernel.

Sign in Sign up, free for 30 days

Every grain, measured.

TRUEGRAIN LAB grades rice kernel by kernel from a flatbed scanner, offline at your lab, and prints a quality certificate your buyer can check line by line.

  1. 01

    Place the sample

Spread a sample on the tray and press Scan tray. A commodity flatbed scanner is all the hardware you need.

  2. 02

    139 kernels found

Every grain is separated, even where two kernels touch, and measured for length, breadth and L/B.

  3. 03

    Every kernel classed

Broken 5.0%, chalky 2.9%, chipped tip 2.2%. Thirteen classes, each with its own colour.

  4. 04

    Checked and certified

Each limit of the buyer standard is checked, and the certificate is ready to print or send as a PDF.

The tray on the left, your sample details and the buyer standard on the right. Limits that fail turn red the moment the scan ends, so a bad lot is caught before it is unloaded.

Questions

What does TRUEGRAIN LAB measure?
Length, breadth and L/B of every kernel, an 11-bin length distribution, TrueWhite (TW) whiteness, milling degree, and 13 defect classes including broken, chipped tip, chalky, yellowish, damaged, red and immature.
What hardware do I need?
A Windows PC and a flatbed scanner at 600 or 1200 DPI. You calibrate it at your own lab with a vernier, reference pouches and an empty-tray baseline.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Grading, history and certificates run on the lab PC. Each lab signs in online once, and the licence stays valid offline until the paid-through date plus a grace period.
Which standards can I check against?
Built-in profiles such as FSSAI Basmati, plus your own buyer specifications. Every limit shows pass or fail as soon as the scan finishes.
How much does it cost?
₹24,000 per user per year, one plan with everything included. The first 30 days are free and need no card. Larger organisations can ask for volume pricing.
Is it available in Hindi?
Yes. The whole app switches between English and Hindi at any time. Numbers and units stay the same in both.
